What is Spot On?
Hydroquinone, Kojic Acid & Niacinamide Cream is an advanced topical skin brightening therapy formulated to improve the appearance of dark spots, melasma, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, sun damage, and uneven skin tone. This powerful combination works by reducing excess melanin production while supporting a healthier skin barrier and promoting a brighter, more even complexion.
Widely used in dermatology and aesthetic skincare, this compounded cream helps fade stubborn discoloration, improve skin clarity, and restore a more youthful, radiant appearance.
How does it work?
- Melanin Reduction (Hydroquinone)
Hydroquinone is one of the most effective topical ingredients for reducing excess skin pigmentation.
Works by inhibiting tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for melanin production.
Helps fade dark spots, melasma, age spots, freckles, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
- Natural Skin Brightening (Kojic Acid)
Kojic acid is a naturally derived skin brightening agent that also inhibits melanin production.
Works synergistically with hydroquinone to improve skin tone and reduce discoloration.
Provides antioxidant protection while promoting a brighter, more even complexion.
- Skin Barrier Support & Tone Improvement (Niacinamide)
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) strengthens the skin’s natural moisture barrier.
Helps reduce redness and irritation that may occur during pigment correction.
Improves overall skin texture while enhancing skin brightness and promoting a more even complexion.
- Comprehensive Pigment Correction
Together, these ingredients target multiple pathways involved in hyperpigmentation.
Helps reduce discoloration while improving skin texture, hydration, and overall skin quality.
Supports healthier, clearer, and more radiant-looking skin over time.

Hydroquinone may increase your skin’s sensitivity to sunlight. Daily use of a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) and protective clothing is strongly recommended.
Avoid applying the cream to broken, irritated, or sunburned skin. Avoid contact with the eyes, lips, and inside the nose.
Hydroquinone is generally recommended for limited treatment periods (typically 3–6 months) unless otherwise directed by your healthcare provider to minimize the risk of long-term skin irritation or rare pigment changes.
What to expect?
Week 1–2
Skin may feel slightly drier than usual, and mild redness or irritation may occur as treatment begins.
Week 3–6
Many individuals begin noticing gradual fading of dark spots, brighter skin tone, and improved overall complexion.
Week 8–12
Continued use may significantly improve melasma, sun damage, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and overall skin clarity while promoting a smoother, more even skin tone.
For best results, apply consistently as directed, wear sunscreen every day, and avoid excessive sun exposure to help maintain results.
This therapy works well alongside moisturizing, antioxidant, and anti-aging skincare treatments.
What should I do if I miss an application?
Resume your normal schedule with the next application. Do not apply extra cream to make up for a missed dose.
